Yes! That is what happened to the Pacific Northwest this weekend. The Portland Metro Area, which includes our home city of Tualatin, gets exited over 2-5 inches of snow and in the past 24-36 hours we have received 14.5″ of snow and freezing rain. This is a record amount of snow for us… the first time we have had this much snow in December since 1968.

For the safety of our employees we have closed our offices for the day as driving was hazardous for many. Several of us in the office attempted to clear off and chain up our cars over the last 2 days and it has taken about an hour to clear off the snow and ice and dig out our tires just to get the chains on!
